PISCO Team The 2025 Materials Chemistry Horizon Prize: Stephanie L Kwolek Prize was awarded for the development of new photochromic dyes for use in semi-transparent solar cells with light transmittance that adapts to illumination conditions. Antonio Riquelme The Transversal Energy Division of the Société Chimique de France (SCF) has awarded its Post-Doctoral Prize to Antonio-Jesús Riquelme-Exposito, a post-doctoral researcher at CEA-Irig in Grenoble in the SyMMES laboratory. The award is in recognition of his work on the development of components (dyes, electrolytes) for the innovative technology of photochromic dye photovoltaic cells for the conversion of solar energy. https://new.societechimiquedefrance.fr/divisions/energie/laureats-2024-de-la-division-transversale-energie/ Renaud Demadrille, is co-winner of the Académie des Sciences' Ivan Peychès 2023 prize. The Ivan Peychès Prize created in 1978 is awarded for work on applications in the study of non-metallic materials, particularly glass or solar energy or, failing that in an applied scientific field. The triennial congress of the French Chemical Society gathers the French chemical community as well as international participants to provide an update on the most promising developments in all fields of chemistry.
