The R. Demadrille group belongs to the STEP team which is a laboratory of the SyMMES research unit at CEA-Grenoble. The STEP is an interdisciplinary team composed of chemists, physicochemists, electrochemists and physicists whose objective is to master complex architectures and functionalities, to invent new high-performance materials, to describe and understand physical phenomena at all relevant scales.
The SyMMES laboratory is located in CEA-Grenoble. This is a joint research unit between CEA, CNRS and UGA (Universty Grenoble Alpes).
The SyMMES aims to develop fundamental research on several themes with a strong societal impact: carbon-free energies, information and communication technologies, biotechnologies and human health. SyMMES targets the design, synthesis and study of innovative and original molecular architectures and functional materials. SyMMES is also interested in the reactivity and properties of biomolecules, thus providing an original approach to biological questions.
